But wait, what is Starshine like?

Real name: Megrez "Meg" Kuma
Familiar's name: Orion
Likes: Moon-watching parties, apples, sewing projects
Magical powers: Sew fallen stars back into the sky, use her thread to tie up her enemies
Back story: After most of the stars fell to earth after a disaster,
Megrez is sent by her mother, Ursa Major, to find them and send them home.
She hopes to prove herself as she is the dimmest star of her siblings.

Theme

Can I enter with a previously submitted deviation?
No. Your entry must have been made specifically for the current contest.
You may not submit pictures uploaded before the start of the contest,
or past contest entries into the current contest's entry pool.

What are the 'Honorable mention' categories?
Those are decided and revealed after the contest ends.
They are reserved for contest entries that left a particular impact on the judge(s).
Past honorable mention categories have included:
Most creative use of media, Most creative use of theme,
Cutest concept, and Best use of traditions.

Do I have to draw your mascot in a chibi style?
Please use whatever style you are comfortable in.
Can I use a base?
Did you make it yourself?
If not, it's a collaboration piece and credit needs to be given to the base maker.
f I entered one of your contests in the past, can I enter this one?
Yes.
Are your contests free to enter?
Yes.
Will you critique or comment on my entry so I can improve it?
Not until the contest ends.
Does my entry have to be in color?
No. Color is not necessary. Beautiful things can be made with a monochrome palette.
How many times can I enter?
You can enter as many times as you want, but quality counts over quantity.
However, one person may win only one place/prize. This includes honorable mentions (if active).
Can I use a stock background?
Using stock for backgrounds is okay as long as you provide credit to the owner and follow their rules.
Are collaborations allowed?
Yes, but prizes will be sent to the artist who submits the piece.
